Why does CRISC matter today?
Cybersecurity risk is no longer limited to the IT department. It can affect daily operations, government missions, supply chains, customer trust, and major business decisions.
NIST’s Cybersecurity Framework now places more emphasis on governance and on the role leaders play in managing cyber risk. The guidance is intended for private businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, schools, and other organizations of every size—not only large corporations or critical infrastructure.
Organizations need professionals who can understand technical risk, explain its impact clearly, and help leadership make informed decisions.
CRISC helps build and validate skills in:
✓ Enterprise IT risk management
✓ Governance and organizational resilience
✓ Risk response and reporting
✓ Risk-based decision-making
✓ Emerging risks, including AI governance and ethics
Our next instructor-led CRISC course is taught by Dr. Shawn P. Murray and runs August 3–5, 2026, in Colorado Springs or online.
Only two days remain to register. Limited seating is still available.
