💰 You could save thousands replacing your Federal Pacific electrical panel.

Here's something many homeowners—and even some contractors—don't realize.

Within the PPRBD jurisdiction, a Federal Pacific panel can be replaced with a one-for-one panel swap instead of requiring a complete electrical service upgrade.

Why does that matter?

A full service upgrade typically means installing an exterior main disconnect, modifying or replacing the meter equipment, bringing the meter height into compliance, coordinating with the utility, and performing additional work that adds significant cost.

A one-for-one panel replacement removes the Federal Pacific panel, installs a new modern panel, and brings the grounding system up to current requirements—without all of the additional work associated with a full service upgrade.

If your home has a Federal Pacific panel, it may be worth understanding this option before committing to a much more expensive project.

JMS Electric is honored to be helping with the new solar installation at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado.

This project will help reduce the facility’s electric costs by an estimated two-thirds, allowing more resources to be directed toward supporting families during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

AC Electrical Connection.

Finished up another AC install connection this week.

Ran conduit, installed disconnect, and cleaned everything up so it’s safe, serviceable, and built to last.

A lot of these get rushed, we take the extra time to make sure it’s done right.
