The Village Forge

The Village Forge Tom Hudson is a blacksmith located in the village of Columbia Falls, ME. Hudson's works are done with traditional methods, the forge, the anvil, and the hammer.

Rivets, collars, tenons, forge welding, being the methods of joinery. His works, to name a few, include fireplace sets (andirons, tools, firescreens), gates and railings, weathervanes, lamp-posts, various sculptures, and household items such as candle holders, trivets, skewers, towel bars, curtain rods, lamps, etc. The shop is modest and no regualr hours are scheduled. Weekends are the best time to find him in the shop. You are more than welcome to stop by, or call to set up an appointment.
