The USC Alumni Center is a 60,000 square foot facility that features flexible event, meeting and administrative space. The Alumni Center is located in the heart of Columbia, near the USC Columbia, SC campus.

The HVAC systems and scope for this project included new roof top units, split systems, terminal boxes, distribution ductwork and complete building environmental controls. We completed this project with quality, integrity and efficiency!

The Biden administration has unveiled the first new energy efficiency standards in over 20 years for water heaters in commercial buildings, a move it says could slash greenhouse gas emissions and reduce energy costs.

New standards would reduce carbon emissions by 38 million metric tons between 2026 and 2055, the Department of Energy said.

You may have noticed many non-profits in our area promoting today; the annual day of on-line philanthropy here in the Midlands. One organization that's dear to us is Camp Cole. We were honored to be selected to complete the HVAC work for their "unique, fully accessible camp and retreat facility for all people, but with a particular heart to help people who might be dealing with serious illness or a disability."

Camp Cole has a medical facility and conference center. The HVAC is driven by a VRF (variable refrigerant flow) system which is a two-pipe heat recovery system that simultaneously heats and cools different zones within the building. The system provides an energy efficient approach and a small footprint along with quiet operating levels.
