Syncopated is developing a First Responder cognitive radio capable of simultaneous operation in the public safety and commercial cellular networks. We are participating in the National Science Foundation I-Corps Program where we are required to conduct brief interviews with First Responders that have experience in emergency situations where the wireless communications infrastructure may be degraded or unavailable in order to understand their communication challenges and critical needs in these harsh environments.
