Standard Cap or iARD, what’s your go-to?

Both offer flip-up lens protection, but with a key difference. The Standard Cap features a classic flip-up design, while the iARD adds an integrated honeycomb designed to reduce reflections off the front of your optic.

Both have their place depending on your setup and use case. Are you running one, the other, or a mix of both?

There’s something satisfying about a design where the geometry does the work. With our Binocular iARD Caps, the honeycomb structure allows light to pass through while limiting the angles from which reflections off the objective lenses can be seen, helping reduce visible lens glint and keep your position less noticeable when glassing in the field. A relatively simple concept, but a lot of thought goes into getting it right.
