Trabue, Hansen & Hinshaw, Inc. (THHinc) and Iowa-based McClure Engineering Company (MEC) have signed a letter of intent to merge the two leading engineering companies.

“THHinc and McClure Engineering Company formed a strategic partnership several years ago,” said Gene Hinshaw, president of THHinc. “This merger formalizes that business relationship and provides our clients a broader range of services and additional expertise.”

“We’re in the business of building relationships to help our clients be successful in the eyes of their constituents by providing high-quality engineering solutions,” said McClure President Terry Lutz. “Both companies hold similar core values and cultures that make us ideal matches.”

We kind of like this guy too . . . .

Not only has he helped build some of the tallest structures in our design/build competitions; he also has helped build some amazingly tall structures at the Missouri State Fair. Patrick Earney has volunteered for Canstruction Mid-Missouri for Missouri Farmers Care Day at the Fair for several years.

There's no telling what the team of Trabue, Hansen & Hinshaw, Inc. with Inside the Lines (i.e. "THHinc Inside the Lines") will plan, but we know they will push the limits.

Patrick has a masters degree in engineering and serves as a structural engineer and project manager on projects throughout the U.S. He volunteers as a commissioner for the Historic Preservation Commission in Columbia and also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the MU School of Engineering.

Sedalia Project Update: This is the firehouse we previously posted about being "topped out" with the tree. The dark brick at the front is the old building that is getting ready to be torn down because the new one is ready for use!
