OUR PROCESS AND QUALITY GUARANTEE
At PRM, Inc. we use the same quality processes on everything that comes into our shop, whether it be commercial phones, POS terminals or metal products.
Our prep process includes removing labels, scotch tape, glue, ink and filling minor nicks and scratches. Phone handsets go through the same prep process except all the internal parts can remain in the handset as we prep then hand wash them. Phones, POS terminals and some metal products go through our commercial washing system removing dirt, grease, release agents and skin oils using a detergent made for us specifically for cleaning various types of plastic and metal. Our prep process is why our painted products look so good. We will paint samples for you to see our quality. (5 or 6) We have most OEM colors for POS terminals and phones such as Norstar, Partner/AT&T/Lucent/Avaya, Intertel, NEC, Panasonic, Rolm, Toshiba, Etc. No special blends for samples. The satin / texture coating we use is a two part Urethane which is nearly bulletproof. It won’t crack or peel and our colors match OEM colors on a consistent basis. You won’t see one color one time and another color the next time. We paint each piece separately but realize that sometimes you’re looking to save money. We can paint some phones with the stand attached to the bottom saving you the cost of painting the stand separately. We don’t like doing this as we feel it’s not a complete job but we do it to save you money. The phone still looks great but if you remove the stand that part of the bottom is unpainted.
We also use a two part Gloss Urethane that is the same quality as the coating above. We carry most colors in both the satin / texture and gloss finish. Per customer request we paint a lot of gloss phones and handsets with our satin / texture finish to help hide badly worn areas in the handset cradle area where a gloss finish enhances all the wear marks. We know it’s not the OEM finish but you wouldn’t believe how good these phones look. If you have an old badly worn phone like that send it along with the other samples we will do for you.
Our turn-around time is 7 – 10 business days and if you send an email letting us know what you’re sending it helps production scheduling and getting parts back to you quicker.
