A HUGE thank you to Boone Electric Community Trust for their incredibly generous grant that allowed us to purchase 2 workstation computers. These computers will be used by individuals in our Makerspace Job Program to develop crucial workplace vocational skills while making free 3D printed adaptive devices for individuals with disabilities.

For Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re celebrating the power of "doing." 🦾✨ Our job skills training at MITEC isn't just about learning 3D design, videography, 🖥️ cost analysis, and job skills 📊—it’s about the confidence that comes with creating something from scratch. 🛠️🏗️

Having a creative outlet and a path to employment provides a sense of purpose that is vital for mental health. 🧠🌱 We love seeing our participants find their "spark" in the makerspace! ⚡🔥
