This is the stage that makes the finished roof possible. 🔨🏠

Another roof replacement in progress, with the crew working through the details before the shingles go on.

Most homeowners will never see this stage once the project is complete—but the underlayment, flashing, decking, and preparation underneath are what help the entire roofing system perform the way it should.

The finished roof gets the attention.
The preparation underneath is what makes it last.

Once we opened this section of the roof, we were able to inspect the structure underneath and address the areas that needed attention before closing everything back up.
The crew is rebuilding the eave section properly before the new roofing system goes on.
A roof replacement isn’t just about new shingles.
It’s about what you find underneath—and what you do about it.

A roof replacement can create a lot of debris in a very short amount of time.
That’s why the job starts before the first shingle comes off.
We tarp and protect the areas around the home so shingles, nails, and debris can be controlled during the tear-off—not scattered across the homeowner’s property.
Installing the new roof matters.
How we take care of the home while doing it matters too.

This roof is showing several signs that deserve a closer look.
As we move across the roof, you can see significant shingle wear, granule loss, staining, and areas around the chimney flashing that need careful inspection.
None of these details should be evaluated by themselves. The goal of a proper roof inspection is to look at the entire roofing system and understand how all of these conditions are working together.
Don’t wait for water inside the house to start paying attention to the roof.

You can inspect a roof from the outside, but sometimes you don’t know the full story until you open it up.
Once the decking comes off, we can see the actual roof assembly — framing, insulation, ventilation conditions, and anything else that may need to be addressed before rebuilding.
This is the work homeowners usually never see once the new roof is finished.
Open it. Inspect it. Correct what needs correcting. Then rebuild it right.

Another roof replacement underway. 🏠

Before the new roofing system goes on, the old shingles come off and the roof deck gets exposed so we can see what we’re actually working with.

This is the stage where we inspect the decking, address anything that needs attention, and prepare the roof for the new system.

Tear it off. Inspect it. Build it right.

A small detail that completely changes the look of the project.

While working on this home, we’re incorporating a custom copper roof section as part of the exterior work.

Details like this take more planning and craftsmanship than most people ever see from the ground—but they’re what give a finished project character.

The shingles protect the home.
The details finish it.

Today’s office view. 🏠🔨
Another morning on the roof, another project moving forward.
Different house. Different challenges. Same goal — do the work right.

A roof doesn’t have to be leaking before it starts showing signs of failure.

From the ground, this roof may look fairly normal. Up close, several shingles are lifting and no longer sitting properly against the roof surface.

That’s exactly why a roof inspection is more than a quick look from the driveway.

Small details can tell us a lot about how a roofing system is performing—and whether it needs attention before water gets inside.

A roof can look completely different from the ground than it does once you get up close.

These shingles are showing significant cracking and deterioration throughout the roof surface. Once shingles begin opening up like this, the roofing system becomes increasingly vulnerable to water getting where it doesn’t belong.

This is exactly why a roof inspection involves more than standing in the driveway and looking up.

Sometimes the problem is in the details.
