This was the kitchen of one of our clients. This poor woman had just lost her husband and found a small leak behind her refrigerator. She tried to file a claim with her insurance company but they told her that they didn't cover slow leaks. They sent a company to come in to demo the area but would not repair the kitchen. All other contractors wanted to gut the kitchen completely in order to repair it. Veteran Home Renovation & Construction heard about this tragic story and wanted to help. Her husband was also an Air Force veteran of 20+ years and as a veteran owned company VHRC felt it necessary to step in. We did not turn a profit on this job but knowing we could serve this elderly woman and support a fallen comrade made this job worth it.
