If you’re hanging lights this season, keep safety at the top of your list (right next to hot cocoa and puppy cuddles 🐶❤️).

Roof + Ladder Safety Tips from Fortified Roofing & Siding
Because we want you enjoying the lights… not repairing your roof.

🔹 Use a sturdy ladder and place it on level ground
🔹 Avoid walking on shingles — holiday traffic + cold weather can damage your roof
🔹 Never use nails or staples to hang lights (they puncture shingles & siding!)
🔹 Choose plastic light clips — roof-friendly and secure
🔹 Watch for icy patches on roof edges and gutters
🔹 If you’re not comfortable climbing, call a pro — your safety comes first
