Three years, three months, and three days with Marker, and Tyler Shisler continues to make an impact across our team.

Tyler was recognized as our May Associate of the Month for the leadership, collaboration, and support he brings to every project.

His teammates highlighted his attention to detail, ability to navigate challenges, and willingness to share his knowledge with others. Whether he's helping develop younger team members, working through complex project issues, or stepping into responsibilities beyond his role when needed, Tyler consistently puts the team first.

His supervisor, Mac, also recognized the way Tyler has stepped up throughout multiple projects, taking ownership and helping carry the load wherever it's needed.

Most people only see the finished building. We get to see everything it took to get there.

From the tower crane rising over the site, to the walls taking shape, to the final details inside the lobby—every phase represents months of planning, coordination, craftsmanship, and teamwork. What started as an active construction site is now a nearly completed space designed to serve the community, support local business, and create experiences for the people who use it every day.

These transformations are our favorite reminder that construction is about more than building structures. It’s about building places where people connect, gather, and grow.

South Charleston Fire Station has received at ABC Ohio Valley Chapter Eagle Award of Excellence in the Special Projects category.

This project was built to support the people who serve and protect the Springfield community every day. From the beginning, the work required quick decision-making, adaptability, and strong coordination across the entire team. Early in construction, the team stepped in to self-perform several critical scopes to help maintain quality, sequencing, and schedule continuity. Through strong field leadership, proactive coordination with local officials and utilities, and close collaboration across the project team, the work was completed safely.

Projects like this require adaptability, accountability, and people willing to step in when it matters most. We’re grateful to Springfield Fire Rescue Division, the City of Springfield, Ohio - Government, App Architecture, our trade partners, and every team member who helped bring this project to life.

Frann’s Fieldhouse has received an ABC Ohio Valley Chapter Eagle Award of Excellence in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building category.

Built through our long-standing partnership with Heidelberg University, this project was about more than constructing a new facility. It was about creating a space that will serve students, athletes, faculty, and the broader community for years to come.

Constructing in the middle of an active campus required constant communication, coordination, and respect for the people the project impacted every day. Thanks to strong collaboration between Heidelberg University, Design Collaborative, our trade partners, and the Marker team, the project was delivered safely, on schedule, and under budget.

Global Impact STEM Academy Upper Academy has received an ABC Ohio Valley Chapter Eagle Award of Excellence in the Institutional category.

This project brought together a lot of moving pieces centered around creating a space designed to support future generations of students. Through strong collaboration between Global Impact STEM Academy, Clark State College, our design and trade partners, and the Marker team, the project was completed three months ahead of schedule and under budget while maintaining the full vision for the facility.

We’re grateful for the people behind this project and proud of the teamwork, trust, and accountability that made this recognition possible. Special thanks to WSA Studio and everyone who contributed throughout the project and award submission process!

305 Prosperity Parkway has been recognized with an ABC Ohio Valley Chapter Eagle Award of Excellence in the Industrial category! 🦅

Behind every award is a team of people willing to solve problems, adapt quickly, and keep moving the work forward together. This project was delivered without a committed tenant in place, which meant decisions had to be made proactively while still meeting schedule, safety, and performance expectations.

Because of the collaboration between Marker, Marker Development, our trade partners, and the project team, the facility was delivered successfully and later secured a national tenant shortly after completion.

We’re proud of the people behind this project and grateful for the trust, accountability, and teamwork that made it possible.

Big night for our teams at the ABC Ohio Valley Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards! 🦅🏆

All four projects we submitted received Eagle Awards of Excellence, the highest honor in the program. We were also honored with a Community Service + Outreach Award, and Sarah Cordell and Gatlin Ridgwell were recognized as Woman of the Year nominees!

Every project came with its own challenges, but the common thread was the people behind the work, teams who showed up for each other, stayed accountable, and kept pushing to get it done the right way. We’re grateful to our associates, project partners, trade contractors, clients, and community partners who played a role in these projects and the impact they represent.

Proud of this team and excited to share more about each award-winning project soon! 👏
