The Guild Mixed-Use Development is complete, marking the culmination of months of collaboration, planning, and hard work from everyone involved.

A small ribbon cutting recently celebrated the project's completion, but the real milestone is what was built together. Successful mixed-use developments depend on strong partnerships between owners, design teams, trade partners, municipalities, and countless others working toward a shared goal.

Jamie brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial construction, along with a strong foundation in construction estimating, construction management, and field leadership.

What stood out most to us, though, is how he describes himself, personable, friendly, and someone who enjoys meeting new people and building strong relationships. Those qualities make a difference on every jobsite, and we're excited to have him on our team.

Most people only see the finished building. We get to see the bones.

Right now at Global Impact STEM Academy Upper Academy Phase II, interior framing is bringing the building to life. Before the walls are closed up, every trade is working together to coordinate the systems that will eventually disappear behind the drywall.

The framing creates the structure. The HVAC, electrical, and plumbing become the building's "nervous system." Getting it all right takes daily communication, planning, and accountability from everyone on site.

Every milestone takes a team. A big thank you to our trade partners at Valley Interior Systems and TP Mechanical Contractors for working alongside us as we continue building the next chapter of GISA's campus.

It's the teamwork behind the walls that makes the finished building possible!

Pete officially retired earlier this month after 22 years with Marker!

For more than two decades, Pete has been a steady presence on our jobsites, leading with experience, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way. The projects he helped build are lasting, but the relationships he built along the way will leave an even greater impact.

We were grateful to have so many office personnel and field associates join us at our Bellefontaine office to celebrate Pete's career and thank him for everything he's contributed over the years. Seeing so many teammates come together was a reflection of the respect Pete has earned throughout his time with Marker.

Pete, thank you for 22 years of dedication, leadership, and the example you've set. We wish you nothing but the best in retirement. Enjoy this well-earned next chapter!

Progress is picking up at Roberts Run Landing. 🏗️

What started as a construction site is quickly becoming a new neighborhood for St. Clairsville. Recent weeks have brought major milestones across the project, from site concrete and exterior siding to electrical and HVAC trim-out, with landscaping beginning and building energization just around the corner. Every step moves this development closer to providing much-needed housing for the community.

We're proud to be partnering with Spire Development to help build a place future residents will call home.

A lot has changed at Global Impact STEM Academy's Upper Academy Phase II over the past few weeks!

One of the biggest milestones was the installation of the building's prefabricated exterior wall panels. Over a three-day crane operation, the panels were set into place, and we're nearing completion of that work. Inside, framing is well underway, bringing classrooms and learning spaces into focus for the first time.

Over the next several weeks, our team will continue interior framing while crews begin electrical rough-in, sanitary work, retaining walls, and other building systems that keep the project moving forward.

We're grateful to continue building alongside the GISA team, creating more opportunities for students and investing in the future of the Springfield community!

Every project begins with a shared commitment to building something that serves the future.

Last week, we celebrated the groundbreaking of a new 250,170-square-foot industrial facility at Stonequarry Crossings Business Park in Vandalia. Developed by Marker Development, we're proud to serve as the design-builder, leading the project from design through construction.

Groundbreakings are about more than turning the first shovel of dirt. They're a chance to recognize the partnerships, planning, and trust that lay the foundation long before construction begins. This project reflects what can happen when public and private partners work together to create opportunities for future businesses, investment, and growth in our region.

Thank you to Dayton Development Coalition, JobsOhio, the Dayton Montgomery County Port Authority, S&T Bank, CBRE, the City of Vandalia, Ohio - Government, Ware Malcomb, Choice One Engineering and everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone. We're excited to get to work!
