"Outstanding Small Project Winner" 🏆
It feels good to help preserve our communities! Our design team rehabilitated one of only four truss bridges left in rapidly-growing Delaware County, Ohio, and our work combining innovation and tradition was recognized as the Outstanding Small Project Winner at the ACEC Ohio 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards!

We designed extensive bridge and roadway upgrades, successfully creating a fortified bridge with a new concrete deck that will last three times longer than a traditional asphalt deck, while retaining the classic aesthetics of a truss bridge. Our new durable design reduces future maintenance costs and came in under the engineer's budget, saving Delaware County valuable funds!
