New Avenue Architects and Engineers is an Architecture and Engineering firm located in Upper Arlington, Ohio, specializing in architecture and engineering services for commercial and residential design projects. We founded the company in January 2010 by merging M2 Design Group, a structural engineering and building design company located in Worthington, and New Avenue Architects, an architecture f

irm in Dublin. After our two firms successfully worked together on multiple joint projects, we established New Avenue Architects and Engineers to bring together our combined architecture and engineering services to create an integrated and harmonious approach to the design process for our clients. We carry professional Architecture and Engineering licenses in Ohio and multiple other states across the country. We also carry National Certified Building Designer certifications, are Certified Green Professionals, and are accredited Verifiers for the NAHB National Green Building Standard program.

Can we all agree natural light makes every room better?

The truth is, natural light doesn’t happen by accident.

Window placement, home orientation, and sightlines are all considered long before construction begins. Those early design decisions are what allow spaces like this primary bathroom to feel bright, open, and connected to the outdoors.

Buildings get the photos. People do the work.

Behind every rendering, every set of construction drawings, and every finished project is this team: architects and structural engineers working side by side in one studio.

That’s the way New Avenue was built, on the belief that the best solutions happen when design and engineering share the same table. It’s hard to believe this home broke ground in Spring 2025.

Fast forward to today, and seeing it come to life is incredibly rewarding.

The homeowners have already shared one of their favorite parts: the abundance of natural light throughout the home. During the day, they rarely need to turn on a light.

The outdoor living spaces have come together beautifully, and it’s exciting to see the family beginning to enjoy the home exactly as it was envisioned.

These are the moments that remind us thoughtful design isn’t just about how a home looks. It’s about how it feels to live there.

Meet Greg Miller, PE, RA, one of the founders of New Avenue.

Twenty-one years in, Greg’s favorite part of the job hasn’t changed: meeting new families, learning what they need in a home, and handing them a design they’ll love for years to come.

Born and raised in Grove City and an OSU grad, Greg is married with three kids and two golden doodles. When he’s not working, he’s traveling, and the trips are planned around two things: amazing food and architecture.

Ask him for a Columbus restaurant recommendation at your own risk, because the list is long.
