Another massive project in the books! The prior system was a 15kw electric air handler with straight air conditioning. We installed an LP furnace, a new air conditioner, and a new coil. We relocated the AC to the other side of the home so the customer can build a deck. Unfortunately, the system was way oversized for the original ductwork. However, we were able to provide the customer with some solutions that have made the home more comfortable than ever. This system had a pinhole in the liquid line since it was installed years ago. Repaired leak and noticed the thermostat reading way higher than the wall around it. Opened the wall and viola, there’s a hot air leak! Patched the hole and used silicone, then the thermostat dropped 4 degrees instantly. Working like a champ now!

Folks, THE one piece of advice we can give you in this heat is to not fall for the high pressure sales tactics used by many HVAC contractors.

We have spoken to customers that are possibly falling victim to increased service call prices and potentially unnecessary equipment purchases. Some contractors will inflate true repair or service cost estimates to make a total system replacement seem like a reasonable option.

Our approach is to provide all available options at reasonable prices. Of course, your system may truly need to be replaced. In that event, we're confident you will find us among the most affordable options in the industry.

Even if you don’t use Tacti-Cool Air, at least get a second opinion!

Verified the leak but you could actually visibly see the leak. Had to end up replacing the entire system, the 30 year old r22 finally gave out.
