Columbus Light & Water (CL&W) was incorporated in 1938 and became a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) distributor in 1939. Electric, water and sewer system is provided to over 12,000 customers including 9,500 residential electrical customers and 10,500 water and sewer customers

TRAFFIC POLE STRUCK
Some customers near 18th Avenue North are experiencing a power outage due to a traffic pole and cabinet on 9th Street and Main that was struck by a driver. Please use caution as one side of the traffic light is not working. Crews are onsite assessing damages and will work to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your patience.

POWER OUTAGES
We are experiencing approximately 3,960 power outages across the city including Hwy 45, Southside, and Main Street. High winds have impacted substations and broken poles,causing system interruptions. Please be cautious when approaching traffic lights along Hwy 45 that are out. All crews are onsite assessing issues and working to restore service as safely and quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and please stay safe.
