π¬πΏ HAPPY NATIONAL DRIVE-In DAY! πΏπ¬
This one brings back some great memories!
Growing up in Warren, Ohio, the drive-in movie theater was THE place to be. My friends and I would pile into whatever car someone could borrow, grab way too much popcorn, sneak in enough snacks to feed a small army, and spend the entire night hanging out under the stars.
Honestly, half the time I can't even remember what movie was playing. The real fun was being with friends, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and enjoying those warm summer nights.
These days, Moe and I are keeping the drive-in tradition alive... although he's mostly interested in the popcorn and not the movie. πΏπΎ
I sure wish Central Ohio had more drive-in theaters. There was just something magical about sitting in your car, tuning in the movie through the radio, and watching the big screen light up the night sky.
Tell me... did you grow up going to a drive-in? If so, where was your favorite one?
And be honest... what did you sneak into the theater? π
