With deep experience in project planning, forecasting, ex*****on, senior leadership, and nearly two decades as a business owner, Michael brings a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic operational leadership to our growing team. Welcome, Michael!

Colusa Indian Energy is proud to recognize Grants Manager Cecelia Angasan for her participation in the Tribal Energy Evolution Summit at Tulalip Resort Casino.
As part of the Tribal Energy Leadership Fellowship through the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy, Cecelia completed a 10-week program focused on Tribal energy planning, sovereignty, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and project finance.
At the summit, Cecelia presented her capstone project focused on improving access to federal energy grant funding for Alaska Tribal communities by identifying common barriers and outlining ways to make the process more clear, accessible, and actionable.
Her participation reflects CIE’s continued commitment to collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership as we work alongside partners advancing energy sovereignty for Tribal Nations.

Tribal governments may be eligible for DOE technical assistance to explore waste-to-energy and waste-to-materials projects, including feasibility, planning, technology evaluation, and environmental impact.
