Big work taking shape at the Ardent Mills plant.
Our crews teamed up with Younglove Construction and RMS to safely set both an 8” and 3” precast meter vault as part of the facility’s water infrastructure improvements. The largest structure tipped the scales at nearly 110,000 lbs, making precision, communication, and teamwork critical every step of the way.
These vaults will house the water meters and equipment needed to meter both water and fire lines serving the plant. A great example of planning, coordination, and skilled operators coming together to move heavy infrastructure safely and efficiently.

Working downtown comes with its challenges — especially during inclement weather. Installing this vault in the left-hand lane at Arapahoe and 18th puts our crews right in the middle of busy traffic. Situational awareness, communication, and following safety protocols are critical to making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. We appreciate the hard work and focus it takes to operate safely in these demanding conditions.
