Last week, the ABC NH/VT Chapter was in Washington, D.C. for our Legislative Conference — standing up for the construction industry and the free enterprise principles that built America.

We had the opportunity to meet directly with elected officials on Capitol Hill to champion ABC’s workforce development initiatives and advocate for smart federal policies that strengthen our industry. From expanding apprenticeships and addressing the skilled labor shortage to promoting pro-growth policies that empower merit-shop contractors, these conversations were critical.

For 250 years, our free enterprise system has fueled innovation, opportunity, and prosperity across this nation. At ABC, we remain committed to protecting that foundation so our members can continue building the future of New Hampshire and Vermont.

A huge thank you to our members who joined us in D.C., and to the lawmakers who took the time to listen. Together, we’re ensuring the construction industry has the workforce and policy environment needed to thrive.
