No, we’re not becoming race car drivers! 🏁😂
With the race this weekend, I was having a little fun imagining what our Strouss Construction truck might look like if it was turned into a race truck and had a car.
The more I looked at it, the more I realized it wasn’t really about racing at all.
Years ago, my papa helped establish the message that still rides on our trucks today:
“Jesus is the Cornerstone, We Are the Builders, Prayer Is Our Best Tool.”
My dad taught us those same values, and we’ve tried to live them and pass them on to the next generation.
That’s why, if there was ever a Strouss Construction race truck, it would have to carry Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
This isn’t just a verse we quote. It’s a verse we’ve lived.
Through challenges, setbacks, victories, and blessings, we’ve learned that anything worthwhile is built on faith, hard work, prayer, and God’s strength.
So no, don’t expect to see us racing at Michigan International Speedway anytime soon. But I thought it was a pretty neat way to honor our family’s legacy and the values that built Strouss Construction.
