Hello, we know we have not been posting lately. We have had some huge projects that we have been working on! We expect to be able to upload photos in the upcoming weeks. Memorial Day is coming up, and we wanted to let everyone know our office will be closed on Monday. We will be taking time to celebrate the heroes that day!

In recent years, ProTek Models has generated a great reputation for our custom scale submersible vehicle models. We can make models of submersible vehicles ranging from small desktop-sized to very large models up to 60 feet in length. We only use the highest quality material available.

To all of our loyal customers,

I want to thank you all for your trust, your business, and your loyalty. I have known many of you since I was in my first building when I was by myself with only my determination and handful of basic tools and machinery. Whether I have known you from the beginning, or for a few months, you have all played and continue to play a vital role in helping ProTek Models to be what it is today. I believe that a company is only as good and as strong as its customers. I am dedicated to you all and I am committed to always providing you with the same outstanding quality models that you have come to expect no matter how large we get. I will always find or develop ways to make our products and services even better, more efficient, and for opportunities to cut cost without quality. Choosing the right material for your FDM 3D Printing project is essential. At ProTek Models, we offer a wide variety of materials to choose from to ensure the parts we produce meet your requirements. Our FDM 3D printing experts can help you determine the best material for your application.

Here are some of the ULTEM materials we offer.

ULTEM 1010 resin is one of the strongest FDM thermoplastics. Ultem 1010 3D printed parts have high heat resistance and thermal stability. It’s able to withstand autoclave operations and sterilization. It is an outstanding material option for composite fabrication tooling and parts that need high strength and heat resistance.

ULTEM 9085 resin features a high strength-to-weight ratio, high thermal and chemical resistance, and flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) ratings. Ultem 9085 is FAA approved for aircraft interiors. Ultem 9085 is an excellent 3D printing material choice for production and prototype parts. ULTEM 9085 is a great FDM 3D printing choice for parts requiring high heat, chemical and flame resistance, high dielectric strength, thermal conductivity, and overall strength.

Recently, 3D Printing has become a game-changer in the automotive industry. Bumpers, dashboards, consoles, seats, headlight assemblies, and more are no problem for the Stratasys Fortus 3D printers run by the skilled technicians at ProTek Models.

Our experienced team can print parts for prototypes and production parts intended for permanent use on race cars, road cars, trucks, and other automobiles. High-performance materials like Ultem 1010, Ultem 9085, and Nylon 12CF even make it possible to print production engine parts including engine manifolds and intercoolers used for dyno testing and low volume production applications. Low volume production FDM 3D printed bumpers, splitters, spoilers, diffusers, dashboards, consoles, and most other car parts can also be produced in a variety of high-performance engineering plastics.
