Are you hands-on, safety-minded, and eager to grow in the downhole motor space? We're looking for someone ready to learn the ropes and become a key part of our Motor Shop team.
What you'll be doing:
Working alongside our senior technicians, you'll help tear down and build downhole mud motors, learn to identify parts by name and number, and get comfortable with the tools of the trade like micrometers, calipers, stator measuring devices, and Torque Master. You'll safely operate the overhead crane, load and unload inspection racks and trucks, and paint and stencil tools to a clean, professional standard. Along the way, you'll conduct failure analysis, complete Job Safety Analyses, keep your work area safe and organized, and even help train Level 1 technicians.
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED (relevant experience and training also considered)
Forklift & Crane certified, plus First Aid, CPR, AED, and OSHA 10 (or willing to obtain)
A quick learner who adapts well to new challenges
Growing knowledge of mud motors and measuring tools (Vector Gages, micrometers, stator/rotor measurement)
Comfortable with Microsoft Office and in-house systems (Great Plains, Trax, CAPEX)
Strong communicator who takes safety seriously
The realities of the role:
This is physical, rewarding work. You'll be on your feet up to 12 hours a shift, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, in a loud environment with possible temperature extremes. The role requires 24/7 on-call availability and around 10% travel.
If you're ready to build a career in the field and grow with a team that values safety and craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today: https://prodirectional.com/about/careers/
