We’re proud to share how our Build-A-Box system was utilized on the Pennsylvania Northeast Extension for a center pier excavation. This project highlights the versatility of our adjustable spreaders, which allowed for this crew to move freely inside the Build-A-Box while maintaining safety and efficiency.
The excavation measured 50’ long, 10’ wide, and 8’ deep- designed for site specific engineering to allow removal of the lower spreaders once the footer was poured in place.

A ShorQuip Supply customer was planning to dig a 16-foot excavation when they unexpectedly hit rock at about 7 feet in depth. Our slide rail system allowed for the rock to be broken up and removed in order for the excavation to continue. Soil and rock can be removed so the rails and panels can be pushed into place, unlike predrilling, tight sheeting, and other costly shoring methods.
