Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Joe Consolla!

Joe grew up in Grand Rapids and attended the University of Alabama, where he earned a degree in Philosophy with a minor in History. He later received a Master of Accounting degree at Grand Valley State University. Joe began his career in public accounting before moving into construction and real estate finance, managing diverse assets and investment entities. He now serves as our Head of Finance and Accounting.

Outside of work, Joe is a huge music buff with an extensive vinyl collection. He operates his own record label that has sold records to customers around the world. Joe also enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling internationally. He even spent a full semester studying abroad in New Zealand during college.

Yesterday, we brought our trade partners and the Future Industries team together at the jobsite for a well-deserved lunch. Moments like these enable us to appreciate the hard work and expertise of our trade partners, strengthen our relationships with clients, and gain a deeper understanding of what drives their business.

Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Mike Murphy!

Mike discovered his passion for building immediately after high school, while working on a few small construction projects. That interest quickly grew into a career path, leading him to enroll at Lansing Community College, where he first met Lee, one of his instructors at the time. He later went on to earn an associate’s degree in Building Technology from Northern Michigan University.

Today, Mike brings that same hands-on enthusiasm and dedication to our team. His early experiences and formal training have shaped a strong foundation in the field, and he’s excited to continue growing his skills with us.

When he’s not working, Mike is an avid Detroit Tigers fan and recently picked up hunting, a new interest he’s quickly come to enjoy.

Yesterday, our team hosted a Trade Contractor Appreciation Lunch at The Summit at Harvey jobsite. It was great to pause, share a meal, and recognize the talented tradespeople who help bring this project to life every day. A big thank you to Smoke N Ash’s Catering for serving amazing food; it was the perfect way to warm up a chilly day!

Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Lyndsay Torres!

Lyndsay began her career in the construction industry, spending more than a decade at Menards learning the business from the ground up– from flooring and electrical to construction estimating.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Michigan State University, which led to a career developing marketing strategies for national clients, managing large-scale campaigns, and collaborating with teams to deliver measurable results. Now, she’s come full circle, bringing her marketing expertise back to the construction world.

Outside of work, Lyndsay enjoys spending time with her husband and family, especially outdoors in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She loves cooking and bringing people together to share good food and plenty of laughs.
