Quick scan of my new Can-Am Off-Road Defender . This was super handy on the old Ranger, I needed another!
Gas struts underneath on hinges at the front. Slots are for bungies and straps. Powdercoated last night ready for bedliner on top. Most stuff just stays on while I drive around the property. Nice having the dry storage in bed.

Summer projects... 1x peice of 3x6x24ft tube split and turned into 6 side rails (24ft total) then some scraps for the winch tongue. Cut and a quick powder coat, then tossed off the ramp down to shore one chunk at a time... about 800lbs worth. Next was a ton of 1/2in bolts and the rattle of the impact for 6hrs. Finally $60 HF winch and 30yr old Seadoo GTI secured.
The fun part is unhooking and the ride off of it.

She was a bit slow...

I'm not sure 300 Weatherby Magnum is a recommend first hunting r***e for a 13? Year old but he only wanted to give the gift once đŸ˜† One only has to shoot once and if ya got it , it was got. Custom 26in barrel for all the 82grains of 4831, complete custom stock (very thin layer laminate with epoxy all the way thru), the trusty 3-9 Vari-x 2 and a THICK recoil pad.
No game animal can escape its fury.
Seeing as its 2026 it was time to thread the barrel...
