We finished up the project for wonderful Mr. Floyd! We added some major drainage, removed and replaced all of the damaged rotted lumber, poured a concrete curb within the wall, removed the old pad under the carpet, put new pad down and reinstalled the carpet, insulation, drywall, trims and paint. On the outside we put down landscaping fabric, stone over the drainage, added stepping stones, and rock glue (which I highly recommend!) , reinstalled the siding and downspouts! His house is sound and strong now with all of the appropriate drainage installed! Check out the before, after and in- between!

The current project is a residential project for the sweetest 91 year old man I’ve ever met! His house is incredibly close to a hill and had extremely poor drainage at one corner, leading to some major water damage. We have pulled up the floor, jacked the wall back into place, repaired the studs down to the original footer, removed a concrete sidewalk that was aiding in the water damage and poured a concrete curb within the wall to shed water. We have added all new treated under framing and installed a v***r barrier. We will be adding some major drainage, new subfloor, re- installing the carpet, new drywall and some exterior water prevention. Stay tuned for the final pictures next week of this repair!

This little beauty was the latest project and she got a facelift! She may be a 2 phase project! To start she got new doors on all openings but one and new track and rollers on all doors, making everything super functional! Barn and baton siding will be the second phase! All of our hard work has paid off!! The repairs to the two gorgeous barns in Geneseo are complete! We poured a new concrete floor, completed siding repairs, re-installed a barn door with new track and rollers, installed “new-old” windows in an orderly fashion, installed new electrical outlets, new curbs and footers to replace rotten beams and did some upper horizontal beam repair! Both of these beauties are ready to stand a very long time!

We’ve been hard at work on Barn #2 over here in Geneseo! This barn is an Old English Barn and one of the oldest in Livingston County! The framework in this barn is beautiful!! We have been repairing some rotten beams by removing them and pouring concrete curbs. The rocks from the original foundation are huge! We have also been laying/repointing some stone foundation. With our repairs, she will stand another hundred years!! We have some frame work to repair in the top header beam. Stay tuned for final pics of both barns!!
