I just wanted to take some time to show you how large these timbers are on this barn we are working on! I have never seen one framed quite this way. It is just massively built! It’s very unique and one of a kind as far as I know! Does anyone else in the Conesus/Geneseo area know of any others that were built in like fashion? The owner and I were discussing that her grandfather had the barn built, but didn’t know if there were others built the same way.

A huge thank you to everyone that has reached out and also for your patience. This past weekend there was an electrical fire at Jesse’s house. She has been trying to keep the clean up going at her own house through this last week as well as continue on through the schedule of work. We appreciate your understanding! Thank you!

Our next job lands us in Conesus to a return client! Check out how BEAUTIFUL the interior frame is in this gorgeous barn! We will be doing some structural repairs to the foundation, siding and window repair, some concrete work, and the shed adjacent to the barn will be getting jacked up with new footers installed. Well the Canandaigua Barn is a wrap!! This little beauty got jacked up three feet! We installed new piers, laminated new post bottoms, added two cables, and new treated nailers for a lateral tie between the posts. She is now ready for the next phase of life!

Thank you everyone for the support and kind words through this difficult time. Although it is terrible, it could have been much worse. I was able to safely get all my animals out of the house. The kitchen and dining room are badly damaged and the rest of the house has some smoke damage. I have some rebuilding ahead of me, but it’s not as bad as it could have been. Thank you for your patience as I continue through this mess!
