Assumptions: with this 700,000 btus in 4.25 cuft we are using a "clean energy" appliance to digest and transfer the bio energy.

There's nothing conservative about losing 50% of vertebrate species over the last century. It defies logic as well to think pulling 100,000,000 years worth of sequestered carbon from the earth and putting it into our oceans and atmosphere in one century is somehow "conservative". Humans in the aggregate are fools!!! The hour is late, but it's time to redefine conservatism to actually include conservation. —Michael Purnell

This is a nice simplistic look at the renew-ability of wood and biomass. The author draws a comparison to solar and wind but doesn't take time to mention Solar PV having a multiple year "setback" in being green or renewable due to the carbon investment in manufacturing the panel etc....

Yes, when you burn a renewable fuel it emits carbon dioxide. But to see the full story we need to understand biomass’ relationship with carbon before it’s used.

–Power from sun to plants is beauty
–CO2 is captured from our air –Carbon is stored like a battery
–We can use the "battery" and clean energy technologies to heat or power or homes.
