It might seem like a bigger air conditioner would cool your home better, but an oversized system can actually create comfort problems.

An A/C system needs to run long enough to do two important jobs:

❄️ Cool the air
💧 Remove moisture from the air

If a system is too large for the home, it may cool the space quickly , but shut off before it has had enough time to remove enough humidity.

When replacing an A/C, the goal isn't to install the biggest system possible. It's to install the right size system for the home.

🎬 Dive In Movie at the Pool - at Port Aransas Community Pool. Cool off with a movie night at the pool! Enjoy the movie DEEP from the water or relax poolside while snacking on free popcorn and lemonade provided by the Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department. Note: Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Outside inflatables are not allowed, and the deep end will be closed during the event.

💡Before it was called air conditioning, it was known as the "Apparatus for Treating Air."

Willis Carrier invented it in 1902 to solve a humidity problem in a printing company. Keeping people cool came later - and we're certainly glad it did!
