There’s nothing quite like a beautifully stained and lacquered set of custom cabinetry.

These maple additions were a dream come true for our clients. The tricky part was to get them to match all of their existing cabinetry.

We keep a wizard under our hat for just such trickery.

Not only were we able to have the 15-year-old stain matched perfectly, but we were also able to offer a high-end lacquer finish then will protect their investment for years to come. Our clients had not yet received all their new handles, but we were still able to pre-drill all of their doors and drawers for a no hassle installation on their own.

Sometimes we get asked about the lifespan of a refinished fixture.

These cast iron sinks were previously refinished almost 30 years ago. They had some small nicks, and a couple areas that had seen some chemical damage from caustic bar soaps. Not bad for 30 years.

The industry standard for warranties is typically 5 years in a residential setting. With proper care and maintenance, an expertly refinished fixture will well surpass that.

So nice we were asked to do it twice.

A year or so ago we poured an exterior bartop that came out great, but really let the clients know that their existing structure was on its way out.
