M&G Resins USA, LLC - Corpus Christi M&G Chemicals, part of the Mossi Ghisolfi Group established in 1953 in Italy, is among the world’s three largest producers of PET or packing applications.

M&G Chemicals is strategically located in Port Corpus Christi with proximity to railroads, highways and the Gulf of Mexico. The plant, on a 412-acre property along the port’s north bank of the Inner Harbor, is also situated within a couple of miles from plenty of refineries that produce feedstock needed to manufacture PET and PTA. Christi, TX, a vertically integrated PTA/PET plant with an expected nominal capacity of 1,000 kMT/year for the PET plant and 1,200 kMT/year for the PTA plant. The Corpus Christi plant is expected to begin production in 2016 and will be the largest vertically integrated single line in the world and the largest PTA plant in the Americas. M&G is also committed to the important issue of environmental sustainability and, therefore, to the promotion of recycling activities. It's a leading innovator in the next generation of renewable feedstocks, such as agricultural waste and non-food crops, for use in their production process.
