With the snow drifting like it is make sure your pvc vent pipes for your furnace and/or water heater are not covered. Also check your dryer vent. I have had a couple of these calls today. With the cold and even colder temperatures coming replace your filter. I don't care if it says up to 90 days. If it is 3 weeks or older change it. Sometimes when temps are below 10° furnace intake pipes can frost up so if you have problems in the next few days check that first. Maybe stick some money away for January heating bill as well. It's going to be high.

We are in the midst of tax season.Just remember if you installed a high efficiency furnace and/or air conditioner last year, you may be eligible for a tax credit.

PSA. Change your furnace filter. The amount of time your system was running the last couple weeks was like triple normal cycles. I don't recommend pleated filters but if you have them, change them every 2 - 3 weeks during the coldest/hottest parts of the season.
