FTC Thunderstruck

St. Albert FTC Thunderstruck robotics team is hosting an Open House this Tuesday, March 3rd from 4:30-7 pm in our robotics room at St. Albert HS, 400 Gleason Avenue, Council Bluffs. Enter through the main entrance by the crucifix and our room is the first large room on the right.

The purpose of this open house is to encourage new schools to start FTC teams. This is a wonderful time to do so with the Scale-up Program that schools and clubs can apply for. The Scale-up Program will provide seed money to schools starting FTC robotics teams and send potential coaches to a 3 day professional development. Highlights of the program are the first 2 years of registration paid for. The playing field, and a starter robot kit.

We will demonstrate this year's competition at the open house and answer questions. If you can't attend that day, reach out to us and we can set something up.

Robot passed inspection and we are on the practice field testing it out.

Thunderstruck is headed into their interview/presentation and then it will be time for robot inspections. Wish us luck today in Orange City at our State Qualifier competition.

Robot matches will start at approximately 11:45 am. We are team 11384. We are in matches 4, 15, 20, 26, and 34. Matches will run approximately 11:45 am-5:30 pm with a lunch break Matches are 2.5 minutes with 5 minutes between matches.
