Phase 3. Tolland pump septic system. This phase was the septic replacement. First, trees and stumps had to be removed to accommodate for the installation of the new septic system. We then excavated out the old system and hauled in approximately 400 tons of approved septic fill. We then installed the tank and pump chamber and put in 65 feet of mantis and back filled. Finally, we spread topsoil, seeded and installed straw matting to stabilize the site.

Phase 1. Drainage. This job started off with a serious water issue. Water was bubbling up out of the driveway into the house. We went in and replaced existing drains that failed due to a previous installation flaw. Due to a high water table, more new drains were installed around the driveway and up into the back yard. With the new driveway, yard and gutter drains, we were able to get the water under control so we could go onto the next task.

This pool was no longer of any use in Coventry. We hammered out the concrete and rebar. Hooked up gutter drains out to daylight. Back filled with clean fill then topsoil, seed and mulched after pictures making the area a nice useful lawn.
