Having cracking and chipping on your foundation in the basement? It’s important to do it the right way to having lasting results, as well as, hydraulically waterproofing and sealing the walls. After which point we also went ahead and framed up a level flat slab for the washer and dryer to sit on. Upon framing, it was structurally attached to the existing foundation walls and the concrete floor, by pinning the new slab with rebar. Lastly, the drain for the washer was inlaid in the form prior to pouring to encapsulate the plumbing and ending in the desired results.
