Ricky Jones recently had the opportunity to serve as an instructor for the IAAI's pilot offering of the Fire Investigation Unit (FIU) Program in Disney Springs, helping equip investigators with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct thorough, evidence-based investigations. Rick's passion for fire investigation started long before his career did. As part of a high school project, he participated in an investigation of a vacant home that was intentionally burned as a training exercise to earn his graduation credentials. That hands on experience only strengthened his passion for the profession and set the foundation for the career he has today. 💙

Education has always been at the heart of Cassie's journey. Before helping build Forensic Investigations Group, she was a classroom teacher, helping shape young minds. Today, she's teaching adults how to write clear, professional investigative reports, proving that learning never stops and that great education can make an impact at every stage of life.

Now, the journey has come full circle once again. While continuing to educate others, Cassie and Rick are also students themselves, both working toward their master's degrees at Oklahoma State University. Their commitment to learning reflects the same commitment they bring to every investigation, because in this profession, education is one of the most valuable tools you can have.
