Building 3000 lf of boardwalk for SLU biology research at North Pass!

Ashley Smith Construction llc is excited to start this LaCombe Trailhead park for St. Tammany Parish. This 2 acre park will have concrete walkways, 3 event pavilions, kayak launching docks, and observation deck. We start the project this coming Monday, March 17, 2025 and expected to take around a year to complete.

Getting the demolition trash out of there, coming in with the new renovation to the State of Louisiana office of State Museums owned historic Lower Pontalba Building in the French Quarters, renovation to apartments and common spaces! Getting ready for the NFL Super Bowl and Mardi Gras!

The Pontalba Buildings form two sides of Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. They are matching red-brick, one-block-long, four‑story buildings built between 1849–1851 by the Baroness Micaela Almonester Pontalba.
