We provide an array of services for grain farmers, from buying, storing, sel

Moving these agricultural products from farmer to market created a demand for safe and efficient transportation and logistics, which resulted in the development of Consolidated Terminals and Logistics (CTLC). CTLC’s operation has expanded to a global base of customers who need transportation solutions using truck, rail and barge. The combination of our assets provide a growing organization that is over 50 years strong!

We're proud to see CGB's Drew Nelson sharing his expertise with the broader grain industry during National Grain and Feed Association's 2026 Harvest Safety Week.

Safety is one of our industry's most important responsibilities, and leaders like Drew help advance that commitment by sharing practical knowledge that protects people and supports a safer harvest season for everyone.

Day 3 of NGFA’s 2026 Harvest Safety Week focuses on grain dryer safety.

In today’s video, Drew Nelson of CGB Enterprises shares important reminders on proper training, equipment inspections, cleaning, maintenance and emergency preparedness to help prevent fires, equipment failures and other hazards.

Following manufacturer instructions, using proper lockout/tagout and confined-space procedures, and having a clear emergency plan can make all the difference.

We were pleased to host the Agribusiness Council of Indiana and President & CEO Melissa Rekeweg. We appreciate ACI’s commitment to educating and developing both emerging and experienced leaders on the issues shaping our industry, from safety and grain grading to workforce development and advocacy. These opportunities help strengthen our businesses, our people, and the future of agriculture. Thank you to Melissa and the ACI team for their continued investment in Indiana agribusiness.

On the road with ACI! President and CEO Melissa Rekeweg recently visited CGB Soybean Processing. The plant plays an important role in Indiana’s grain and agricultural supply chain. The facility is undergoing a $47 million expansion that will significantly increase grain storage and handling capacity, supporting the continued growth of soybean processing in the region. We're grateful for their partnership!

Every day, CGB helps connect U.S. agriculture to customers around the world. Recently, Chuck Long and Jason Selking had the opportunity to share that story with approximately 25 emerging agricultural leaders participating in a U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) program.

Representing countries across Central America and the Caribbean, the group visited the Ohio River region to learn more about the U.S. soybean value chain and the journey soybeans take from farm to global markets.

During their visit, Jason and Chuck shared an overview of CGB's role in the supply chain and provided a firsthand look at our Jeffersonville operation. The visit also sparked great conversations around logistics, trade, and the connections that help move agricultural products around the world.

We appreciate USSEC for the opportunity to connect with this group and share how CGB helps move U.S. agriculture from local communities to customers around the globe.

Recently, CGB welcomed a group of stakeholders and end-use customers from Japan for one of our annual crop survey tours. These visits offer a unique opportunity to see this year’s crop up close while gaining a deeper understanding of the people, innovation, and partnerships behind U.S. grain production.

From walking producer fields in Southeast Iowa to conversations with the teams at Beck's Hybrids and Pioneer Seeds, participants experienced what it takes to grow a successful crop. A stop at Sloan Implement Co. - Wi******er, IL, along with visits to CGB Naples and CGB Soybean Processing in Mount Vernon, Indiana, provided a firsthand look at the facilities, infrastructure, and expertise that help move grain from farm to market.

We’re grateful to the producers, industry partners, and CGB employees who welcomed our guests into fields and facilities across our network, sharing their time, knowledge, and hospitality along the way. When customers can see where their grain comes from, meet the producers behind it, and experience the supply chain firsthand, these experiences strengthen the relationships that make global agriculture possible.

Memorial Day is a moment to pause.

𝗔𝘁 𝗖𝗚𝗕, 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲.

It’s a day that doesn’t ask for much, just time to remember that the rhythm of everyday life exists because others were willing to give up theirs. Not in theory, but in reality. Not someday, but when it mattered most.

It’s worth sitting with that for a moment. To recognize the cost without trying to simplify it. To be grateful without needing to say it perfectly.

However the day is spent, there’s value in taking a quiet minute, one where we remember, in our own way, the people behind the freedoms often taken for granted.

That kind of remembrance matters.
