A new chapter, built on a strong foundation. ⚡

“As your President and CEO, my promise is simple: to protect the reliability you depend on, to be a careful steward of your cooperative’s resources, and to support the employees who work hard for you every day. Together, we will continue building on a legacy of service that puts members first — today and for generations to come.”

Our Broad River Electric Cooperative family came together to celebrate the retirement of Terry Mallard and recognize his 10 years of dedicated leadership and service.

In true South Carolina fashion, the celebration included a company-wide low country boil and time spent together reflecting on Terry’s impact across the co-op.

One of the most meaningful moments from the event was Terry being presented with the Order of the Palmetto from Freddie Gault on behalf of Congressman Rep. Ralph Norman – South Carolina’s highest civilian honor.

We’re grateful for leaders like Terry and for opportunities to come together as a company to celebrate our people!
