Had an awesome wrap up to season transporting tower climbing crew for a week+. The “snow” cats are getting a good bath and going back in the cradle. Always a bittersweet moment but now we can log all service items needed before next season. On to the next cat to clear roads for access😎

#8 on window from previous owner was quite fitting as this is our 8th cat! Our equipment is never run of the mill or good enough. The exhaust looked wrong and didn’t match the transport truck. A few late nights and it not only performs better but looks better. Fabricating bed and building it out for the multiple uses our customers benefit from. Bed is base for tools, parts, propane, and a passenger compartment to haul additional personnel. Color change coming soon bigger cats for bigger projects!

Spring snow has its challenges when transporting heavy parts and propane. Working at night provides much cooler temperatures and the snow holds up much better. One load of batteries delivered and a bonus sunset and nearly a sunrise by the time we finished.

HMS UPDATE: We took a gamble on a new Nevada location and a new snowcat dedicated to it. The size of the mountains here and remoteness require a very capable and reliable machine. We customized the Cat for many days before testing it out. Its first job was a 68 mile round trip propane delivery to one of our hardest locations. And yes the exhaust helps….Thankful for the snow here and the solid machine. Had to travel to keep up the snow game, but still doing what we love to do.

We have been a little busy lately but wanted to share another creation. We built this cab from the ground up to fit cat perfectly. It can be used many different ways. It has every amenity that you can imagine. Self contained power system with solar, heat, communication with driver, lights, storage, entry lights. Comfortably seats 4 adults.
