Yesterday was such a wonderful time! The 1st annual Fall Harvest at the Station was a huge success. Rupert’s Ace Hardware donated the bouncy house for the event, Miniassacres brought their wonderful animals and was busy all day providing lots of smiles and laughter.
It was wonderful seeing all the families that came to the celebration! Jeremy made a really cool cyclops outfit that the kids were fascinated by and Addi, our junior artisan, had a really cool fishing game. There was so much to do and lots of smiles and laughter.
Thank you Kris Schofield for all the work in coordinating, graphics, and organizing. Thanks to Lauren Myli for cool videos, and Tracy Herold for graphics, supply chain knowledge, and simply being who you are.
This is what it is all about Cresco. This community event felt really nice. I’m so proud of the artisans for seeking out ways to make this event special. Whether it was finding weights to hold tents, setting up card tables, taking photos for family memories, getting water, or a pleasant conversation, their presence was genuine and appreciated. Thanks to all of you for being part of the group.
Thanks to DNA for the wonderful music and for the really cool photo opportunity of having the drummer in the MAG truck. Aggi your voice is beautiful and you made your (mom) biggest fan very proud. Dominick thank you for some really cool music.
Thank you to the food vendors for coming to the event and making tasty food! Thanks to the vendors that were part of our 1st annual event.
Thanks to all the people that came to the event. We are so appreciative of your support and taking time out of a busy time of year to be here.
Last but certainly not least, thank you to the Cresco City Council, Cresco Police Department, Cresco City Crew, Hawkeye Sanitation, TPD, Bruce Buckley from Super C 102.3,The Shopper, and the businesses that contributed to our ad in The Shopper! I look forward to doing more with businesses in town.
September 25th will be the next Fall Festival at the Station! We will take the lessons learned this year to make next year bigger and better! Thank you to everyone that made the 1st annual Celebration such a success!
