TLC Ingredients is proud to release its inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainability, education, community involvement, and responsible business practices throughout 2025.

On the environmental front, TLC continued investing in energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives, including a solar panel system that now offsets approximately 70% of the company’s electricity usage. Recycling programs were expanded through electronics recycling events, battery collection efforts, and secure document shredding programs.

Supporting STEM, food science, and sustainability education remained a key priority. TLC provided financial support to organizations including the Chemical Educational Foundation, Chicagoland Food Science Foundation, and EcoRise, helping promote the next generation of scientific and sustainability leaders.

The company also strengthened its community impact through employee donation matching, charitable giving programs, volunteer initiatives, and appreciation efforts for truck drivers and first responders.

In its supply chain, TLC reinforced expectations around environmental stewardship, labor practices, and ethical conduct, with 90% of suppliers providing evidence of compliance with the company’s CSR requirements. The company also maintained its EcoVadis Silver Rating, placing TLC among the top 91% of its industry peers.

Through these initiatives, TLC continues to demonstrate that responsible growth and positive community impact go hand in hand.
