Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC service technician with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The HVAC Service Technician will work closely with our team to ensure that all work orders are executed efficiently and effectively, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs on existing HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed systems to guarantee proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication with clients regarding installation processes, system maintenance, and repair needs.
Compliance with Safety Protocols: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations pertaining to HVAC installation and maintenance.
Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation related to installation and repair work, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including project managers and sales representatives, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.
Qualifications and Skills:
At least 8 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and components, as well as the tools and equipment required for installation and repair.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to working safely.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
HVAC certification or relevant trade certification is preferred.
