With the extreme heat we’re experiencing right now, even the best air-conditioning systems can struggle to keep up. A few simple maintenance steps can make a big difference in your system’s performance and efficiency:

✅ Check your air filter and make sure it’s clean and not restricting airflow.
✅ Keep your outdoor condenser coils clean and free of grass, leaves, dirt, and other debris.
✅ Make sure your outdoor unit has plenty of airflow and isn’t blocked by anything.

When your system is dirty or airflow is restricted, your A/C has to work much harder—and in this extreme heat, you’ll definitely notice the difference.

Today was a much-needed day off for Coltyn and I, thanks to Johnstone Supply! We were also with our good friends from Comfort Zone Heating & Air, who Johnstone also sent to Lake Cumberland with to go striped bass fishing. It was a great day! We caught our limit by noon.
