Engineered before it ever reaches the field.

Custom lifting devices require more than a good idea. They need to be reviewed, analyzed, and tested against real-world forces before they are put into service.

This stress study for a pinned tie plate with an updated lug and strut assembly is a good example of the detailed engineering that happens before fabrication, testing, and field use.

FastTrack Engineering supports complex projects with structural analysis, custom rigging design, lift planning, and practical engineering support built around safety, precision, and accountability.

Engineered for the lift. Tested for the field.

FastTrack Engineering designed this custom lifting device and supported the test setup before field use.

From load path and rigging geometry to fit-up, clearances, and handling, custom lifting devices require detailed engineering before they ever reach the jobsite.
When standard solutions are not enough, FastTrack helps design, test, and plan the equipment that makes complex lifts possible.

Before a lifting device goes to work, the setup has to prove it can.

FastTrack Engineering supports custom test setups for lifting devices, rigging components, and specialty below-the-hook equipment.

When a standard test method is not enough, our team helps develop practical, controlled setups designed around the device, the load path, and the real-world forces involved.

From concept to verification, FastTrack helps bring clarity to the details that matter most: strength, safety, fit-up, load control, and confidence before the equipment reaches the field.

Custom lifting devices require more than fabrication.
They require engineered testing that makes sense.

180,000 lb. One engineered lifting solution.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is a computer-based method that predicts how a design will react to real-world forces by breaking it into smaller elements.

For this reactor vessel lift, FEA was used to evaluate a simple custom lifting device utilizing the top fl**ge.

Sometimes the best part of the job is the view.

Wind turbine sites take us to some of the most visually stunning places we work: wide-open ridgelines, remote terrain, and views that remind you why the planning matters.

Behind every finished turbine standing on the horizon is detailed engineering that helps make the work possible.

FastTrack helps plan for challenging terrain, poor ground conditions, crane movement, site relocation, and wind limits so turbine projects move safely, efficiently, and with precision.

What Makes Wind Turbine Er****on So Challenging? The Ground Beneath the Crane.

Remote wind projects often mean poor ground conditions, challenging terrain, or both. While these jobs are often set in some of the most visually stunning places we work, they also demand a high level of engineering precision.

Wind turbine er****on requires careful planning to make sure crane movement stays within a tight working envelope, relocations between turbine sites are efficient and safe, and wind limits on critical lifts are strictly followed.

That is where detailed engineering makes the difference.

From ground condition analysis and lift planning to crane path strategy and site-to-site relocation planning, successful wind projects depend on precision at every stage.
The setting may be beautiful. The engineering behind the work is what keeps the project moving safely.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

FastTrack Engineering is proud to celebrate the strength, freedom, and hard work that built this country — and the people who keep it moving forward.

Today, our FastTrack and MCS teams came together to honor America’s birthday with pride, gratitude, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue.
Built strong. Planned smart. Still rising.

Happy Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

Some projects are not solved by muscle alone.

This FastTrack Engineering case study looks back at the University of Minnesota Tandem Linear Accelerator removal, where internal components had to be supported, released from compression, and removed through a custom rail extraction system.

Stored force. Fragile components. Controlled removal.

165,000 lbs at 190’ radius. That gets attention.

Big iron, heavy lifts, precise placement. These trusses came in at 165,000 lbs each, 130 ft long, 26 ft tall, and were set 40 ft above grade at up to a 190’ max radius.

Getting that much steel in the air is one thing. Landing it clean between columns is where planning, balance, communication, and field ex*****on all come together.

A strong team making a difficult lift look controlled.
