An EJ&E locomotive move paired with custom moving dollies and extensive planning. With limited track time available, the team had to stay outside the ICC corridor for crane setup while executing a rapid transfer to the conveyance.

Balanced in the Air. Locked in by Design.

At the Pritzker Military Archive Center, precision wasn’t optional. Multiple cranes operated simultaneously on both sides of the structure, lifting large trusses in sync.

Each angled truss was hoisted and set at the same time, then tied into the roof structure simultaneously, allowing the system to stabilize and balance across the building during er****on.

This kind of work demands engineered sequencing, exact timing, and disciplined ex*****on. Plan it right. Execute it once.

For this Danly Press mechanism, we modeled the system to understand which components required support during a partial tear down and rebuild. By fully articulating the linkage through its range of motion, we exposed how each piece behaves under load.

What It Takes to Remove a Press Cam With Inches to Spare
Replacing an eccentric cam on a forging press is not a simple removal. It is a controlled engineering sequence.

The cam operated within a confined press frame, with surrounding geometry limiting access and rigging angles. Initial extraction required a carefully balanced lift to gradually expose enough of the component for reconfiguration.

Load behavior was analyzed.
Shift points were anticipated.
Clearances were continuously protected.

Once sufficient exposure was achieved, the cam was re-rigged and removed under fully controlled conditions.
