Where’s the Grain?
Inventory control of raw grain stored in is especially challenging because adding or removing grain from the silo results in an irregular surface where measuring the volume of grain is complex. Radar systems may not capture reflections from grains, and manual readings are frequently inconsistent. High definition surveying (HDS) produces millions of points that are used to model complex shapes and can provide accurate, precise, and consistent measurements of grain inventory.
