Crawlspace Repair Project – Ram Jack Chesapeake
This crawlspace had a variety of issues and was in rough condition when our
team arrived. The main floor had dropped several inches, the center beam was
completely rotten, temporary columns were rusted, insulation was falling down,
and mold was present throughout the area.
Results: Our crew addressed the settlement and made a major, lasting
improvement to the structure.
The project included:
Removing the damaged insulation
Replacing the rotten center beam
Installing new footings and permanent support columns
Remediating the mold
Installing a new v***r. barrier
Restoring overall stability to the crawlspace
This was not an easy job. The crawlspace had a small access opening, low
pipes in the way, and tight working conditions throughout the project, but our
team never shrank from the challenge. The difference is amazing! The space is
now cleaner, stronger, and structurally secure.
