Dane County •US 14, Closed, Bridge approach washed out near STH 78 intersection by the Shoe Box. Detour being prepared (currently STH 60 to US 12 due to STH 78 flooding)
•US 14, Closed, Beltline to Black Earth
•US 14, Closed, Ramps to beltline are under water, signals are being checked. Greenway Ramps at Beltline, OPEN, water has receded and ramps are now open
•STH 69, Closed, Paoli to Verona, water over roadway
•STH 78, Closed, CTH A to Green County Line, (between Daleyville – Blanchardville)
•STH 78, Closed, US 14 to STH 19, (Black Earth to Mazomanie)
•STH 19, High water, US 12 to STH 78 (Springfield Corners to Mazomanie)

Friday, July 27, 2018 the "Gallagher Brothers" who owned and operated Capitol Sand & Gravel Co., Inc. retired by selling the aggregate site business known as Capitol Sand to Payne & Dolan, Inc. I'm confident Michael and Rodney send a sincere thank you to the many "regular" customers who year after year purchased our aggregate; we appreciate your business and are hopeful the new owners can continue a long relationship providing material to the community - essentially picking up where we left off~
