This one wins the award for unique! Still not sure what they're for, but we put the router to work engraving black walnut slabs to create several doors with gold metal inlays. Customer provided drawings of metal and the inlays, and we routed the channels and holes in the doors as required. Then Coleman epoxied them in, and finished with an oil to protect the wood. Stunning!
